A bright pink-red “spring flowering” cultivar, and similar in shape and size to the well-known ‘Deshojo’.

It differs in the variable -shappedd palmatum-type leaves which can be small and crinkly with narrow lobes to large very broad-lobed leaves.

The leaves slowly become green with bronzed margins for the summer , turning orange -red in fall.
